About the Racial Justice Report Card
The Racial Justice Report Card is a WC4BL initiative that seeks to articulate specific ways in which academic medical centers can promote anti-racism, facilitate efforts to organize for change at academic medical center, and ensure public accountability for promoting anti-racist medical practices.
The 2020-2021 Racial Justice Report Card (RJRC) is structured around three pillars:
- Police and prison abolition on our campuses, in hospitals, and broader communities
- Redistribution of wealth, health and education to BIPOC people and communities
- Community control and self-determination for communities of color
Together, we hope that these three pillars can help us build towards a more just future for academic medicine. More than 25 schools were graded by their students and house staff in the 2020-2021 RJRC. You can view current and prior RJRCs at the links below.
